Almuñécar Archaeological Museum

Inside the museum, remnants of Almuñécar's historical past and the remains of a 16th-century Egyptian ship can be seen. You can learn all the history of the city here. The ruins date from the Argaric period to the end of the Middle Ages. Among the most important remains are grave goods from the Puente de Noy necropolis, features found in the salting factory; there is also the vase of Apophis I, the statue of the contemporary Minerva, coins minted at the time, as well as expenses used during the Spanish Inquisition.
