While walking through the streets of Almuñécar you will come across this historical fountain, it was built in 1559. The woman in the fountain represents the Goddess of Fertility, and the two lion statues next to her have water outlets. At the top you can see the Spanish Royal coat of arms. The marble bowl under the lions was made later.
